ΕΝΔΗΜΙΚΑ ΦΥΤΑ ΤΟΥ ΤΑΥΓΕΤΟΥ

Πραγματοποιείται συστηματική έρευνα σχετικά με τη βιολογία και τις ιδιαιτερότητες των ενδημικών φυτών του Ταϋγέτου. Τα πειράματα γίνονται για να καταγραφούν τα βιοχημικά στοιχεία των φυτών, να παραχθούν πρωτόκολλα πολλαπλασιασμού και καλλιέργειας. Κατοχυρώνονται συνεργασίες με ομάδες παραγωγών, εταιρίες μεταποίησης και εταιρίες προώθησης για την αξιοποίηση νέων προϊόντων του Αγροδιατροφικού τομέα που θα προκύψουν από τις ερευνητικές προσπάθειες.

ΥΠΕΡΙΩΔΗΣ ΑΚΤΙΝΟΒΟΛΙΑ UV-C

Πειράματα με την υπεριώδη ακτινοβολία γίνονται από το 2010 και έχουν δείξει τη δυναμική των εφαρμογών ως παράγοντα ανάπτυξης και άνθισης, και αβιοτικής προστασίας από συγκεκριμένα παθογόνα. Η χρήση της UV-C γίνεται με συγκεκριμένες προδιαγραφές και έχει χρησιμοποιηθεί με επιτυχία σε πολλά καλλωπιστικά είδη και δρεπτά άνθη.

ΔΡΕΠΤΑ ΑΝΘΗ - ΚΑΛΛΙΕΡΓΕΙΑ ΚΑΙ ΜΕΤΑΣΥΛΛΕΚΤΙΚΗ ΔΙΑΧΕΙΡΙΣΗ

Σε συνεργασία με τους Έλληνες Ανθοπαραγωγούς (ΑΑΣΑ) πραγματοποιούνται πειράματα που σχετίζονται με την ανάδειξη νέων ειδών καλλωπιστικών φυτών με προδιαγραφές για εμπορική αξιοποίηση για την παραγωγή δρεπτών ανθέων. Στόχος των πειραμάτων είναι να αντικατασταθεί μέρος των ενεργοβόρων καλλιεργειών με άλλες χαμηλότερου κόστους παραγωγής.
